As a private Catholic Elementary School, St. Andrew’s Country Day School (St. Andrew’s CDS) relies on tuition, parish contributions and philanthropic support to execute our mission. In addition, we rely on the time and talents of volunteers to accomplish our goals.
Tuition pays for only part of the operation costs of our school. Parish subsidies, endowment income, events and fund-raising significantly defray the actual cost of educating our students.
Financial contributions can be made in many ways. Here are some of the more common types of financial giving:
1. Msgr. Scholarship: This fund is supported by our alumnae, past parents, parishioners and friends. This fund is being built so that we can achieve our goal of ensuring no child is excluded from a St. Andrew’s CDS education, due to financial constraints.
2. Planned Giving: Planned giving represents an opportunity to continue supporting St. Andrew’s CDS beyond active life within the parish. By designating St. Andrew’s CDS in your will, future generations of St. Andrew’s CDS students will benefit from your commitment and generosity.
Please contact our Business Manager, Ed Hans, (716) 873-6716, ext 106 or by email to make a donation or for more information about any of these opportunities.
St. Andrew’s CDS parents, teachers and administration work diligently to raise additional funds in support of our activities and programs. There is always room for more volunteers and participants in these events. To learn more about getting involved with St. Andrew’s CDS in this way, [read more].
St. Andrew’s Country Day School is always looking for people who can contribute their time and expertise to the school. For example, you could get involved with a fundraiser, tutor a student, assist in a classroom, or help at an athletic event. These are just some of the many ways to get involved.
St. Andrew’s CDS is fully committed to the safety of our students. All volunteers who will be in direct contact with students will have a background check through the Diocese of Buffalo. In addition, mandatory training will be made available to train volunteers to help protect the safety of our children.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact our Principal, Mrs. Pamela Giannantonio by email or personally at (716) 877-0422.
