STREAM Academies run for eight weeks, during the fall and spring semester. The program is offered once a week, after school with teachers as facilitators. There is an academy offered for every grade level beginning in Pre-K4. These academies integrate science, technology, religion, engineering, art and mathematics. To find out more about what makes STREAM an important component to each of our student’s educational experience read here. STREAM intentionally connects disciplines to drive instruction and prepare students for the future!
In Fall 2018, St. Andrew’s offered Blast with Bubbles (Pre-K4-K), Fairy Tales & Bible STEM (Gr. 1-2), Do Tell Story-Making (Gr. 1-4), CSI Experience (Gr. 4-8), You’re the Balm (Gr. 5-8), Robotics (Gr. 6-8) and Future Cities (Gr. 6-8).
Stay tuned for our Spring 2019 offerings!
We had a blast with our Fall 2018 STREAM academies and had great success. At the December X-STREAM Games at St. Joe’s, we had a strong showing with our Science Scrimmage, and You’re the Balm Team. Our Robotics teams took 2 first place finishes in the Vex Co-Op Challenge. We are greatly anticipating our Spring 2019 Session.
